Uttar Pradesh government has launched a new Old Age Pension scheme for all senior citizens. Now Yogi Sarkar is providing Rs.800 per month to all senior citizens of Uttar Pradesh to around 50 lakh peoples. This new pension Yojana is just like tha Samajwadi Pension Yojana that was giving Rs. 750 . In this new pension Yojana people having Pucca house and 2 wheeler vehicle can also apply for this scheme.
Now people can take the benefit of this Pension Yojana easily because this time the State government has loosened the restrictions from this scheme and also increases Rs.50 from the older scheme.
People of Uttar Pradesh also get benefits of other social security Schemes and Yojanas like Vidhwa Pension Yojana, Viklang Pension Yojana.
This Old Age Pension Yojana is implemented in a very transparent manner. This new scheme is to ensure that a large number of people are covered and no one remains isolated.All the eligible candidates now getting Rs.800 as monthly Pension.

The Candidates must fulfill the following eligibility criteria for getting the benefits of this new pension Yojana:-
• Applicant must be a resident of Uttar Pradesh.
• Citizens of age 60 and more can apply for this scheme.
• His/Her name must be appear in the Indian final BPL list 2018.
• All the candidates having bike and a permanent house can apply for this scheme if they satisfies the other eligibility.
